适应症
用于小儿感冒、支气管炎引起的咳嗽、多痰等。
用法用量
口服。一日3～4次。5～15岁：一次5～15ml；2～5岁：一次3～4ml；2岁以下酌减。
不良反应
1.偶有心悸、发热感、出汗等，休息片刻即可消失。|2.大剂量或长期使用可引起精神兴奋、震颤、焦虑、失眠、心痛、心悸、心动过速等。|3.可能引起微妙的情感变化，出现认知和记忆的缺损。|4.长期用药，偶见叶酸缺乏和低钙血症。|5.罕见巨幼红细胞性贫血和骨软化。|6.大剂量时可产生眼球震颤、共济失调和严重的呼吸抑制。|7.用本品的患者中约1%～3%的人出现皮肤反应，多见者为各种皮疹，严重者可出现剥脱性皮炎和多形红斑（或Stevens-Johnson综合征），中毒性表皮坏死极为罕见。|8.有报道用药者出现肝炎和肝功能紊乱。|9.长时间使用可发生药物依赖，停药后易发生停药综合征。
禁忌
1.对巴比妥药过敏者禁用。|2.肝功能不全患者禁用。|3.镰状细胞贫血患者禁用。
注意事项
1.交叉过敏反应对其他拟交感胺类药，如肾上腺素、异丙肾上腺素等过敏者，对本品也过敏。|2.如有头痛、焦虑不安、心动过速、眩晕、多汗等症状出现时应注意停药或调整剂量。|3.短期内反复用药，作用可逐渐减弱（快速耐受现象），停药数小时后可以恢复。每日用药如不超过3次，则耐受现象不明显。|4.对一种巴比妥过敏者，可能对本品过敏。|5.肝功能不全者，用量应从小量开始。|6.长期用药可产生精神或躯体的药物依赖性，停药需逐渐减量，以免引起撤药症状。|7.与其他中枢抑制药合用，对中枢产生协同抑制作用，应注意。|8.有轻微脑功能障碍症儿童（MBD）者慎用。|9.本品应置于儿童不能接触到的地方，以防误服。
