适应症
本品用于镇吐药。本品主要用于： 1. 各种病因所致恶心、呕吐、嗳气、消化不良、胃部胀满、胃酸过多等症状的对症治疗。 2. 反流性食管炎、胆汁反流性胃炎、功能性胃滞留、胃下垂等。 3. 残胃排空延迟症、迷走神经切除后胃排空延缓。 4. 糖尿病性胃轻瘫、尿毒症、硬皮病等胶原疾患所致胃排空障碍。
用法用量
口服给药：
1.成人常用量：每次5～10mg，每日3次。用于糖尿病性胃排空功能障碍患者，于症状出现前30分钟口服10mg;或于餐前及睡前服5～10mg，每日4次，总剂量每日不得超过0.5mg/kg。
2.小儿常用量：5～14岁每次用2.5～5mg，每日3次，餐前30分钟服，宜短期服用，小儿总剂量每日不得超过0.1mg/kg。
不良反应
1. 较常见的不良反应为：昏睡、烦燥不安、疲怠无力。
2. 少见的反应有：乳腺肿痛、恶心、便秘、皮疹、腹泻、睡眠障碍、眩晕、严重口渴、头痛、容易激动。
3. 用药期间出现乳汁增多，由于催乳素的刺激所致。
4. 大剂量长期应用可能因阻断多巴胺受体，使胆碱能受体相对亢进而导致锥体外系反应(特别是年轻人)，可出现肌震颤、发音困难、共济失调等。
禁忌
1. 下列情况禁用
(1) 对普鲁卡因或普鲁卡因胺过敏者。
(2) 癫痫发作的频率与严重性均可因用药而增。
(3) 胃肠道出血、机械性肠梗阻或穿孔，可因用药使胃肠道的动力增加，病情加重。
(4) 嗜铬细胞瘤可因用药出现高血压危象。
(5) 不可用于因行化疗和放疗而呕吐的乳癌患者。
2. 下列情况慎用
(1) 肝功能衰竭时，丧失了与蛋白结合的能力。
(2) 肾衰，即重症慢性肾功能衰竭使锥体外系反应危险性增加，用量应减少。
注意事项
1. 醛固酮与血清催乳素浓度可因甲氧氯普胺的使用而升高。
2. 严重肾功能不全患者剂量至少须减少60%，这类患者容易出现锥体外系症状。
3. 因本品可降低西咪替丁的口服生物利用度，若两药必须合用，间隔时间至少要1小时。
4. 本品遇光变成黄色或黄棕色后，毒性增高。
贮藏
密封保存。
