适应症
1.β-溶血链球菌、肺炎双球菌引起的轻度或中度的呼吸道感染、嗜血流感。|2.β-溶血链球菌、肺炎双球菌引起的轻度或中度的下呼吸道感染。|3.肺炎支原体引起的呼吸道感染。|4.百日咳杆菌引起的百日咳:红霉素可有效消除患者咽喉部的百日咳。临床研究表明红霉素能够预防易感人群感染百日咳。|5.白喉:白喉是由于白喉杆菌产生毒素所致，霉素可以预防易感人群成为白喉带菌者或根除带菌者体内病菌。|6.微小棒状杆菌引起的红癣病。|7.溶组织阿米巴引起的肠道内阿米巴。|8.李斯特菌引起的单核细胞增多症。|9.化脓性链球菌和金黄色葡萄球菌引起的皮肤、软组织的轻度、中度感染。|10.梅毒螺旋体引起的初期梅毒:对于青霉素过敏的患者口服红霉素可以作为治疗初期梅毒的一种选择药物，在治疗初期梅毒前，必须进行脑脊液的检查;子宫内梅毒不建议使用红霉素来治疗。|11.沙眼衣原体引起的以下疾病:新生儿结膜炎、幼儿肺炎、怀孕期间的泌尿、生殖系统感染;当四环素禁忌或不能耐受时，红霉素可用于治疗沙眼衣原体引起的成人泌尿、子宫颈内、直肠的感染。|12.肺炎军团菌引起的军团病。
用法用量
1.链球菌感染：口服红霉素至少需要10天的疗程。对于风湿性心脏病患者需要持续服药以预防链球菌感染的复发，剂量为250mg，每日2次。|2.心脏瓣膜疾病的青霉素过敏患者，在牙科手术或上呼吸道手术时，服用红霉素来预防心内膜炎，在手术前1小时成人口服1g(儿童20mg/kg)，术后6小时再服500mg(儿童10mg/kg)。|3.肠道内阿米巴：成人250mg，每6小时一次，连续10~14天。儿童30~50mg/kg/天，分次服用，连续10~14天。|4.军团病：建议1~4g/天，分次服用。|5.沙眼衣原体引起的孕期泌尿系感染：建议500mg，每日4次，空腹服用，连续7天。对于不能耐受患者，剂量可减至250mg，每日四次，连续服用14天。|6.沙眼衣原体引起的成人泌尿、子宫颈内、直肠的感染，四环素禁忌或不能耐受时；每次500mg，每日4次，连续7天。
不良反应
1.常见副作用为呕吐、腹痛、腹泻、纳差等胃肠道反应，与剂量有关。 |2.过敏反应包括:风疹、轻度皮疹。 有听力暂时损害报道，发生于肾功能不好且用药量大的患者。 |3.有报道口服红霉素可导致肝脏功能损害、黄疸。
禁忌
对本品及其他大环内酯类药物过敏者禁用。
注意事项
1.肝、肾功能不全者慎用。|2.长期使用红霉素可导致耐药或真菌的感染。|3.若出现双重感染，请停止使用并进行正确的治疗。
