适应症
用于活动性风湿病、类风湿性关节炎、红斑性狼疮等胶原性疾患；亦用于严重的支气管哮喘、严重皮炎等过敏性疾病及急性白血病、何杰金氏病等。
用法用量
1.肌内注射，一次25单位(1支)，一日2次。
2.静脉滴注，临用前，用5%葡萄糖注射液溶解后应用。一次12.5～25单位，一日25～50单位。
3.促皮质素兴奋试验：用5%葡萄糖注射液500ml溶解注射用促皮质素20～25单位，静脉持续滴注8小时，滴注前后采血测血浆皮质醇，观察其变化，或留滴注促皮质素日尿液测尿游离皮质醇或17-羟皮质类固醇，与前一日对照值相比较。
不良反应
1.由于促皮质素促进肾上腺皮质分泌皮质醇，因此长期使用可产生糖皮质激素的副作用，出现医源性库兴综合征及明显的水钠潴留和相当程度的失钾。
2.促皮质素的致糖尿病作用、胃肠道反应和骨质疏松等，系通过糖皮质类固醇引起，但在使用促皮质素时这些副作用的发生相对较轻。
3.促皮质素刺激肾上腺皮质分泌雄激素，因而痤疮和多毛的发生率较使用糖皮质类固醇者为高。
4.长期使用促皮质素可使皮肤色素沉着。有时产生过敏反应，包括发热、皮疹、血管神经性水肿，偶可发生过敏性休克，这些反应在垂体前叶功能减退、尤其是原发性肾上腺皮质功能减退者较易发生。在静脉给药给疑有原发性肾上腺皮质功能减退者作促皮质素试验时，宜口服地塞米松，每日1mg，以避免诱发肾上腺危象。
禁忌
对本品过敏者禁用。
注意事项
1.本品粉针剂使用时不可用氯化钠注射液溶解，也不宜加入氯化钠中静脉点滴。
2.由于促皮质素能使肾上腺皮质增生，因此促皮质素的停药较糖皮质类固醇容易，但应用促皮质素时皮质醇的负反馈作用，下丘脑-垂体-肾上腺皮质轴对应激的反应能力降低，促皮质素突然撤除可引起垂体功能减退，因而停药时也应逐渐减量。
3.有下列情况应慎用：高血压、糖尿病、结核病、化脓性或霉菌感染、胃与十二指肠溃疡病及心力衰竭患者等。
