适应症
本品用于治疗高胆固醇血症。
用法用量
宜在餐后或餐时口服，服用本品3个月后，如无效，应停用本品。
1.成人常用量 一次0.25g，一日2次，随治疗反应可增加至一次0.25g，一日3次。
2.如合并高尿酸血症，可开始时一次0.25g，每日3次。
3.治疗后血脂正常，可改用一次0.25g，每日2次维持。
不良反应
1.最常见的不良反应为胃肠道不适，如消化不良、恶心、饱胀感、胃部不适等，其他较少见的不良反应还有头痛、头晕、乏力、皮疹、瘙痒、阳萎，贫血及白细胞减少等。个别病例有血氨基转移酶升高。
2.本品属氯贝丁酸衍生物，有可能引起肌炎、肌病和横纹肌溶解综合征，导致血肌酸磷酸激酶升高;发生横纹肌溶解，主要表现为肌痛合并血肌酸磷酸激酶升高、肌红蛋白尿、并可导致肾衰，但较罕见;在患有肾病综合征及其他肾损害而导致血白蛋白减少的患者或甲状腺机能亢进的患者，发生肌病的危险性增加。
3.本品有增加患胆石症的危险;氯贝丁酸衍生物类可从3方面影响类固醇的代谢，它们可抑制胆固醇的合成，抑制胆汁酸的合成，加强胆固醇从胆汁中的排泌，后两个因素可使胆汁中的胆固醇饱和度增加，因此可能导致某些患者形成胆结石，但同时还可能存在其他影响因素。
禁忌
1.对益多酯过敏的患者禁用。
2.肝功能不全或原发性胆汁性肝硬化的患者禁用，本品可促进胆固醇排泄增多，使原已较高的胆固醇水平增加。
3.严重肾功能不全患者禁用，因为在肾功不全的患者服用本品有可能导致横纹肌溶解和严重高血钾;肾病综合征引起血白蛋白减少的患者禁用，因其发生肌病的危险性增加。
4.患胆囊疾病、胆石症者禁用，本品可使胆囊疾患症状加剧而需要手术。
5.近期有心肌梗死或患癫痫病的患者禁用。
注意事项
1.本品治疗期间应定期检查血脂、肝肾功能、血细胞计数、血肌酸磷酸激酶。
2.如果临床有可疑的肌病的症状（如肌痛、触痛、乏力等）或血肌酸磷酸激酶显著升高，则应停药。
3.在服用本品之前，应尽量先采用饮食疗法、锻炼和减肥，以及控制糖尿病和甲状腺机能减退等方法来控制血脂水平，无效时再使用药物治疗。

遮光密封保存。
