适应症
本品主要用于治疗避孕药引起的闭经；对黄体功能不全、多囊卵巢、无排卵型出血、功能性闭经、月经紊乱、不孕症、乳腺囊性增大、泌乳综合症等也有一定的疗效。
用法用量
1.口服每日50mg，共5日。自月经周期的第5天开始服药。若患者系闭经，则应先用黄体酮撤退性出血的第5天始服用。 2.患者在治疗后有排卵但未受孕可重复原治疗的疗程，直到受孕，或重复3～4个疗程。 3.若患者在治疗后无排卵，在下一次的疗程中剂量可增加到每日100mg，共5日。个别患者药量可达每天150mg时，才能排卵。
不良反应
1.较常见的不良反应有：肿胀、胃痛、盆腔或下腹部痛（囊肿形成或卵巢纤维瘤增大、较明显的卵巢增大，一般发生在停药后数天）。
2.较少见的有：视力模糊、复视、眼前感到闪光、眼睛对光敏感、视力减退、皮肤和巩膜黄染。
3.下列反应持续存在时应予以注意：潮热、乳房不适、便秘或腹泻、头昏或晕眩、头痛、月经量增多或不规则出血、食欲和体重增加、毛发脱落、精神抑郁、精神紧张、好动、失眠、疲倦、恶心呕吐、皮肤红疹、过敏性皮炎、风疹块、尿频等，也可有体重减轻。国外有极个别发生乳腺癌、睾丸癌的报告。
禁忌
原因不明的不规则阴道出血，子宫肌瘤，卵巢囊肿，肝功能损害，精神抑郁，血栓性静脉炎等禁用。
注意事项
1.可有面部潮红、恶心、头晕、乏力、腹胀、乳胀、皮疹、肝功能障碍等不良反应，停药可消失。
2.治疗男性不育症时，服药前必须进行精液检查、内分泌检查以及睾丸活检，以确定不育原因主要在于精子数量减少；用药期间要定期检查精液常规、ＦＳＨ和睾酮水平；服药后一般经２～３个月始能生效。用药原则是低剂量、长疗程，要注意高剂量会抑制精子的发生。
3.对男性无精子病人，除睾丸活检证明尚有精子发生外，一律不得使用。
4.肝病、肾病、卵巢囊肿及其它妇科肿瘤病人忌用。服药后有严重过敏反应者应停用。
5.剂量过大，可引起卵巢肥大。
6.视力模糊和闪烁盲点与剂量有关，停药可逆转。
7.视觉异常应作为使用本品的禁忌症。
