适应症
本品适用于：1. 单纯疱疹病毒感染：用于免疫缺陷者初发和复发性粘膜皮肤感染的治疗以及反复发作病例的预防;也用于单纯疱疹性脑炎治疗。2. 带状疱疹：用于免疫缺陷者严重带状疱疹病人或免疫功能正常者弥散型带状疱疹的治疗。3. 免疫缺陷者水痘的治疗。4. 急性视网膜坏死的治疗。
用法用量
静脉滴注，每次滴注时间在1小时以上。
不良反应
1. 常见的不良反应：注射部位的炎症或静脉炎、皮肤瘙痒或荨麻疹、皮疹、发烧、轻度头痛、恶心、呕吐、腹泻、蛋白尿、血液尿素氮和血清肌酐值升高、肝功能异常如血清氨基转移酶、碱性磷酸酶、乳酸脱氢酶、总胆红素轻度升高等。2. 少见的不良反应有：急性肾功能不全、白细胞和红细胞下降、血红蛋白减少、胆固醇、三酰甘油升高、血尿、低血压、多汗、心悸、呼吸困难、胸闷等。3. 罕见的不良反应有：昏迷、意识模糊、幻觉、癫痫、下肢抽搐、舌及手足麻木感、震颤、全身倦怠感等中枢神经系统症状。
禁忌
对本品过敏者禁用。
注意事项
1. 对更昔洛韦过敏者也可能对本品过敏。2. 急性或慢性肾功能不全者不宜用本品静脉滴注，因为滴速过快时可引起肾功能衰竭。3. 以下情况需考虑用药利弊：脱水患者，本品剂量应减少。严重肝功能不全者、对本品不能承受者、精神异常或以往对细胞毒性药物出现精神反应者，应用本品易产生精神症状，需慎用。4. 严重免疫功能缺陷者长期或多次应用本品治疗后可能引起单纯疱疹病毒和带状疱疹病毒对本品耐药。如单纯疱疹患者应用阿昔洛韦后皮损不见改善者应测试单纯疱疹病毒对本品的敏感性。5. 对诊断的干扰：可引起肾小管阻塞，使血肌酐和尿素氮增高。如剂量恰当、水分充足一般不会引起。6. 随访检查：由于生殖器疱疹患者大多易患子宫颈癌，因此患者至少应一年检查一次，以早期发现。静脉用药可能引起肾毒性，用药前或用药期间应检查肾功能。7. 静脉滴注后2小时，尿药浓度最高，此时应给病人充足的水，防止药物沉积于肾小管内。8. 一次血液透析可使血药浓度降低60%，故每次血液透析6小时应重复初给一次剂量。9. 静脉滴注时宜缓慢，否则可发生肾小管内药物结晶沉淀，引起肾功能损害的病例可达10%，并勿使之漏至血管外，以免引起疼痛及静脉炎。10. 肥胖患者的剂量应按标准体重计算。11. 本品对单纯疱疹病毒的潜伏感染和复发无明显效果，不能根除病毒。12. 一旦疱疹症状与体征出现，应尽早给药。13. 本剂呈碱性，与其他药物混合容易引起pH值改变，应尽量避免配伍使用。
