适应症
本品用于偶发性便秘。
用法用量
口服。成人一天1~3片，首次排便之前服用高剂量，维持阶段服用较低剂量，1~3天后起效。
不良反应
1. 在推荐口服剂量下，病人能较好的耐受，个别病人可发生腹胀、腹痛、口苦、皮疹。2. 体外细胞培养试验发现，多库酯钠对肝细胞具有一定的细胞毒作用，多库酯钠单独使用或者与酚丁类药物(oxyphenisatin)同时使用，均对肝细胞具有细胞毒性，但其肝脏毒性未在体内研究和临床研究中得到证实。3. 多库酯钠可能增强其它药物肝脏毒性，故不宜与其它具有肝毒性的药物同时使用。4. 多库酯钠可引起肠道粘膜的形态学改变，但这种改变的病理生理学意义尚不明确。
禁忌
1. 对本品过敏者禁用。2. 禁止与其它具有肝脏毒性的药物同时使用。3. 肠梗阻(尤其是粪便嵌塞所致)者禁用。
注意事项
1. 如出现腹痛、恶心、呕吐等症状超过二周，使用本品前需咨询医师。2. 如使用本品后无效或便血，需立即停止使用咨询医师。3. 本品可增加石蜡油等的吸收，不宜与石蜡油等矿物油同时使用。4. 本品作用温和，起效也较缓慢，口服后1～3天才能见效，不宜用于肠镜手术前清洁肠道的患者或需要立即通便的患者。5. 本品口服后基本不吸收，药物均随肠内容物排出，因此可能影响肛管手术患者伤口的愈合。
