适应症
用于各种类型甲状腺功能亢进症，包括毒性弥漫性甲状腺肿（Graves病）。在Graves病中尤其适用于：|1.病情较轻，甲状腺轻至中度肿大者；|2.儿童、青少年及老年患者；|3.甲状腺手术后复发，但又不适于放射性131I治疗者；|4.手术前准备；|5.作为131I放疗的辅助治疗。
用法用量
口服用药。|1.成人用量|(1)治疗甲状腺功能亢进症分三个阶段。治疗阶段：一日300-400mg（6-8粒），分3-4次服用，重症甲亢可适当加量，极量一日600mg（12粒），症状控制之后逐渐减量，一般需要1- 3个月；减量阶段：根据病情、血压及血TSH水平酌情减量，一次可减量 50-100mg（1-2粒），3-4周减量一次；(2)维持量阶段：一日50-150mg（1粒-3粒），需服药6-12个月甚至更长。|(3)甲状腺功能亢进症的手术前准备：术前服用本药使甲状腺功能恢复到正常或接近正常，然后加服两周碘剂再进行手术，每次100mg（2粒 ），一日3-4次，术前1-2日停服本药。|(4)作为放射性碘治疗的辅助治疗：需放射性碘治疗的重症甲亢患者，可先服本药治疗，放射性碘治疗后症状还未缓解者，可短期用药，每次100mg（2粒），一日三次。|2.儿童用量|开始剂量每日4mg/kg体重，分次口服，维持量酌减。
不良反应
1.较多见的为皮疹或皮肤瘙痒，有的皮疹可发展为剥脱性皮炎。|2.血液系统不良反应较重，多见轻度粒细胞减少；少见严重的粒细胞缺乏、血小板减少、凝血酶原减少或凝血因子Ⅶ减少；也可见再生障碍性贫血。|3.其他不良反应包括味觉减退、恶心、呕吐、上腹部不适、关节痛、头晕、头痛、脉管炎、红斑狼疮样综合症。|4.罕见的不良反应有肝炎（可发生黄疸，停药后黄疸可持续至10周才消退）、间质性肺炎（伴咳嗽、气促）、肾炎和累及肾脏的血管炎。
禁忌
1.对硫脲类药物过敏者；|2.结节性甲状腺肿伴甲状腺功能亢进者；|3.甲状腺癌患者；|4.哺乳期妇女；|5.严重的肝功能损害；|6.严重的白细胞缺乏。
注意事项
1.应定期检查血象及肝功能;|2.对诊断的干扰:可使凝血酶原时间延长，AST、ALT、ALP、BIL升高;|3.外周血白细胞偏低和肝功能异常患者慎用。
