适应症
用于各种类型甲状腺功能亢进症，包括毒性弥漫性甲状腺肿（Graves病）。在Graves病中尤其适用于：|1.病情较轻，甲状腺轻至中度肿大者；|2.儿童、青少年及老年患者；|3.甲状腺手术后复发，但又不适于放射性131I治疗者；|4.手术前准备；|5.作为131I放疗的辅助治疗。
用法用量
用于治疗成人甲状腺功能亢进症，开始剂量一般为每天300mg，视病情轻重介于150-400mg，分次口服，一日最大量600mg。病情控制后逐渐减量，维持量每天50-150mg，视病情调整；小儿开始剂量每日按体重4mg/kg，分次口服，维持量酌减。
不良反应
1.较多见的为皮疹或皮肤瘙痒，有的皮疹可发展为剥脱性皮炎。 |2.血液系统不良反应较重，多见轻度粒细胞减少；少见严重的粒细胞缺乏、血小板减少、凝血酶原减少或凝血因子Ⅶ减少；也可见再生障碍性贫血。 |3.其他不良反应包括味觉减退、恶心、呕吐、上腹部不适、关节痛、头晕、头痛、脉管炎、红斑狼疮样综合症。 |4.罕见的不良反应有肝炎(可发生黄疸，停药后黄疸可持续至10周才消退)、间质性肺炎(伴咳嗽、气促)、肾炎和累及肾脏的血管炎。
禁忌
严重肝功能损害、白细胞严重缺乏、对硫脲类药物过敏者禁用。
注意事项
1.应定期检查血象及肝功能。|2.对诊断的干扰：可使凝血酶原时间延长，AST、ALT、ALP、Bil升高。|3.外周血白细胞偏低、肝功能异常患者慎用。
