适应症
本品用于治疗2型糖尿病。单一服用本品，并辅以饮食控制和运动，可控制2型糖尿病患者的血糖。对于饮食控制和运动加服本品或单一抗糖尿病药物，而血糖控制不佳的2型糖尿病患者。本品可与二甲双胍或磺酰脲类药物联合应用。对服用最大推荐剂量二甲双胍或磺酰脲类药物，且血糖控制不住的患者。本品不可替代原抗糖尿病药物，则需在其基础上联合应用。饮食控制是2型糖尿病治疗的措施之一。限制热量、减轻体重和增加运动均有助于提高胰岛素的敏感性，因而其不仅是2型糖尿病治疗的基本治疗，且可有效的保持药物疗效。在开始服用本品前，应诊治影响血糖控制的病症，如感染。
用法用量
口服，服药与进食无关。糖尿病治疗应个体化。1. 单药治疗：初始剂量可为一日一片(4mg)，每日一次或分两次口服。如对初始剂量反应不佳，可逐渐加量至一日两片(8mg)。2. 与磺酰脲类联合用药：初始剂量可为一日一片(4mg)，每日一次或分两次口服。发生低血糖时，减少磺脲类用量。3. 与二甲双胍联合用药：初始剂量可为一日一片(4mg)，每日一次或分两次口服。12周后若空腹血糖控制不理想。剂量增加至一日两片(8mg)。最大推荐剂量为每日两片(8mg)，每日一次或分两次口服。
不良反应
1.轻中度水肿；
2.贫血；
3.本品可能会使血红蛋白和红细胞压积下降，可能与罗格列酮造成血浆容量增加有关；
4.低血糖反应，合并使用其它降糖药物时，有发生低血糖的风险；
5.肝功能，临床试验发现轻中度转氨酶升高的发生率为0.2%，与安慰剂组相当，并且为可逆。
禁忌
对本品或其中成分过敏者禁用。
注意事项
1．一般罗格列酮仅能在胰岛素存在下发挥降糖作用,故不用于1型糖尿病或糖尿病酮症酸中毒的治疗。
2．低血糖症：联合使用胰岛素或其它口服降糖药时,有发生低血糖症的风险,此时可能有必要降低同用药物的剂量。
3．排卵：绝经期前不排卵的胰岛素抵抗患者,噻唑烷二酮包括罗格列酮的治疗可能导致重新排卵。作为胰岛素敏感性改善的结果之一,这些患者如果不采取有效避孕措施,则有怀孕的风险。
4．水肿：水肿病人使用本品应慎用。
5．心脏：对于NYHA标准新功能Ⅲ和Ⅳ级的病人,不宜使用本品。
6．肝脏：适用本品应定期检测肝功能,有活动性肝病的病人不应服用本品治疗。
