适应症
1.快速性心律失常(快速性室上性心动过速及室性早搏)。 2.诱导麻醉或麻醉期间出现的窦性心动过速。
用法用量
1.快速心律失常紧急治疗:酒石酸美托洛尔成人剂量5mg，用葡萄糖稀释后，以每分钟1～2mg速度缓慢静脉注射，如病情需要5分钟后重复注射一次，视病情而定，总剂量不超过10mg(静脉注射后4～6小时，心律失常已经控制，用口服胶囊或片剂维持，每天2～3次，每次剂量不超过5mg)。 2.诱导麻醉或麻醉期间治疗心律失常:采用每分钟1～2mg速度缓慢静脉注射，成人2mg，根据需要及耐受程度可以重复注射2mg，必要时最大总量为10mg。
不良反应
个别病例有低血压、心动过缓，头晕不适感。
禁忌
1.Ⅱ度或Ⅲ度房室传导阻滞，心源性休克，严重窦性心动过缓(心率小于60次/分)，收缩期血压小于12kpa，心功能不全，病态窦房结综合症及孕妇禁用。
2.肝、肾功能不全及严重支气管痉挛患者慎用。
注意事项
1.酒石酸美托洛尔静脉内给药，必须缓慢，每分钟1～2mg速度注射并在心电图与血压的密切观察下使用。
2.静脉注射时易引起严重的心动过缓与低血压甚至虚脱和心脏停搏，必须十分谨慎，应严格掌握适应症、剂量和注射速度。出现明显的心动过缓与低血压时即须停止注射，可用阿托品1～2mg静脉注射，必要时可使用升压药如mataramimol(阿拉明)或去甲肾上腺素，亦可用glucagon(高血糖素)1～5mg静注。
3.糖尿病病人使用酒石酸美托洛尔特别小心，因为β受体阻滞剂可以掩盖心动过速及低血糖。
4.疑有甲状腺机能亢进病人。未确诊前，不宜使用。
5.本药治疗结束时，不要突然停药，尤其在严重心绞痛病人突然停药会诱发室性心动过速和猝死，应逐渐地减量停药。

遮光，密闭保存。
