适应症
本品适用于敏感原生动物和厌氧菌引起的感染。 1.用于毛滴虫引起的泌尿生殖道感染。 2.用于阿米巴原虫引起的肠、肝阿米巴虫病（包括阿米巴痢疾，阿米巴肠病，阿米巴结肠炎，阿米巴肝脓肿）。 3.用于贾第鞭毛虫病。 4.用于厌氧菌感染：如败血症、脑膜炎、腹膜炎、手术后伤口感染、产后脓毒病、脓毒性流产、子宫内膜炎以及敏感菌引起的其他感染。 5.用于预防各种手术后厌氧菌感染。
用法用量
1. 毛滴虫病： (1) 急性毛滴虫病：一次性服药，成人一次1500mg（6片），晚上顿服。儿童25mg/公斤/天，一次顿服。 (2) 慢性毛滴虫病：成人每次500mg（2片），每日二次，共5天。性伙伴应给予同样的治疗，以避免重复感染。 2. 阿米巴虫病： (1) 阿米巴痢疾：成人及体重35公斤以上的儿童，每次1500mg，晚饭后顿服，连服三天；体重60公斤以上者，每次1000mg（4片），每日二次，饭后口服，连服三天；体重35公斤以下儿童，40mg/公斤，一次顿服，饭后口服，连服三天。 (2) 其他阿米巴虫病：成人及体重35公斤以上儿童，每次500mg（2片），每日二次；体重35公斤以下儿童，25mg/公斤，一次顿服，连服5～10天。 3.贾第鞭毛虫病： (1)成人及体重35公斤以上儿童，晚上顿服1500mg（6片），服药1～2天。 (2)体重35公斤以下儿童，40mg/公斤，一次顿服，服药1～2天。 4.厌氧菌感染： (1)预防术后感染：手术前12小时口服1500mg（6片），以后每次500mg（2片），每日二次，服药至手术后3～5天。 (2)成人及体重35公斤以上儿童，每次.00mg（2片），每日二次；体重35公斤以下儿童，20mg/公斤，分二次口服。
不良反应
1.可见轻度副作用嗜睡、头痛、胃肠不适（包括恶心、呕吐）。
2.个别患者可见中枢神经系统障碍:如头痛、震颤、强直、癫痢发作、运动失调、疲劳、眩晕、意识短暂消失或周围神经病。
3.味觉障碍，肝功能异常和皮肤反应。
禁忌
对本品或硝基咪唑类药物过敏者禁用。
注意事项
1.中枢神经系统疾病患者如癫痢、多毛性硬化病慎用。
2.肝病疾病患者、酗酒者、脑损伤患者慎用。
3.妊娠及哺乳妇女慎用。
贮藏
密封，避光保存。
