适应症
肾上腺皮质功能减退症及垂体功能减退症，也用于过敏性和炎症性疾病等。
用法用量
1.口服：肾上腺皮质功能减退，成人剂量20mg～25mg/日，清晨服2/3，午饭后服1/3；有应激情况时可增至80mg/日。小儿剂量每日按体表面积20mg～25mg/m2，分3次服。 2.肾上腺皮质功能减退及垂体前叶功能减退危象、过敏反应、哮喘持续状态、休克，每次醇型100mg静脉注射，或氢化可的松琥珀酸钠135mg静脉滴注，可用至300mg/日，疗程不超过3～5日。 3.类风湿性关节炎、骨关节炎、腱鞘炎、肌腱劳损等，可用醋酸氢化可的松混悬液关节腔内注射，25mg～50mg/次，鞘内注射25mg/次。 4.注射临用前，用生理氯化钠注射液或5%葡萄糖注射液稀释后使用。
不良反应
长期大量应用糖皮质激素，可产生一系列不良反应：
1.医源性肾上腺皮质功能过高症：表现为满月脸、向心性肥胖、高胆固醇血症、高血糖、糖尿、肌肉萎缩无力、骨质疏松、多毛、痤疮、易受感染、低血钾、浮肿与高血压等，一般不需特殊治疗，必要时加用对症性治疗措施。
2.医源性肾上腺皮质功能减退症：主要发生在长期用糖皮质激素治疗的停药过程中。采用激素间歇用药，并注意停药措施，可能避免发生这类不良反应。
3.诱发或加重感染：长期应用能降低机体的免疫功能，常诱发继发性感染，或使机体内潜在感染病灶扩散，多见于病程较长、病情严重、体质虚弱者如白血病、再生障碍性贫血、肾病综合征、结缔组织病等长期应用糖皮质激素类药物治疗的过程中。用于急性病毒感染，常可使病变扩散。
4.诱发消化道溃疡、出血、穿孔：常见恶心、呕吐、嗳气、反酸、腹胀、腹上区不适、腹痛等，严重者可诱发或加重胃、十二指肠溃疡。
5.可出现精神症状：欣快感、激动、失眠等症状，也可表现为抑制或诱发精神病。儿童大剂量时可引起惊厥，可用苯巴比妥或苯妥英钠对抗之。
6.诱发胰腺炎：糖皮质激素可使血清淀粉酶增高，可能是出现胰腺炎的征兆。

禁忌
尚不明确。
注意事项
1.本品注射剂(醇型)中含有50%乙醇，必须充分稀释至0.2mg/ml后供静脉滴注用。
2.有中枢神经系抑制或肝功能不全者应慎用。
3.需用大剂量时应改用氢化可的松琥珀酸钠。

遮光，密封保存。
